Beginning on April 1, I will be joining thousands of bicyclist across the globe on a 30 day biking challenge. The challenge is to ride my bike every day in April, no matter how far, as long as you get on your bike (and yes, biking at the gym counts...at least for me it does!). I did this 2 years ago, and I am doing it again this year. However this time I am setting a goal for myself. My goal this April is to ride a minimum of 5 miles each day. I plan to post a picture every day here, on my instagram and facebook page just to remain accountable.
What is cool about this challenge is that for every 2 pledges (and it costs nothing to pledge), 30 DAYS OF BIKING will donate $1 to World Bicycle Relief. For more information on World Bicycle Relief, click on this link...

In a nutshell, World Bicycle Relief donates bikes to those in need in Africa. This allows those who normally have to walk to school, work, etc easier access to these locations. Studies have shown that those who bike to work show in increase in performance and health.
So in 3 days I will be starting my challenge. I need y'all to keep me accountable (as well as encouragement) so that no matter whether it is rain, shine, sleepy, whatever...I will meet the challenge of at least 5 miles every day in April.
